Starry
Law Firm Thailand has recently been appointed as the long-term legal counsel in
Thailand to Dali Foods Group Company Limited ("Dali Foods Group").
Through professional legal support, Starry will assist Dali Foods Group in
expanding its operations in Thailand and overseas markets.
Dali Foods Group Company Limited
Founded
in 1989 in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, Dali Foods Group has long focused on the
food industry and developed a business structure spanning both food and
beverage products. The group continues to advance manufacturing technology
through in-house R&D, technology introduction and collaborative
development, and has established a range of food and beverage production lines
serving diverse consumer markets.
Dali
Foods Group was previously listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of
Hong Kong Limited under former stock code 3799.HK. It completed its
privatisation and withdrawal of listing in 2023; accordingly, it is not
described in this article as a currently listed company.
Against
the backdrop of regional supply-chain reconfiguration and the growth of
Southeast Asian consumer markets, an increasing number of Chinese food
enterprises regard Thailand as an important overseas manufacturing and
regional-coordination hub. For Dali Foods Group, establishing operations in
Thailand can support regional-market development while creating conditions for
supply-chain diversification and localised operations.
Thailand Project and Legal
Support

information indicates that Dali Foods (Thailand) Co., Ltd. signed a purchase
agreement in 2025 for approximately 75 rai of land at S Angthong Industrial
Estate with Singha Estate. Located in Ang Thong Province, the estate provides
industrial infrastructure and supporting services for industries including food
production.
As
China-Thailand cross-border economic cooperation continues to deepen and the
need for refined outbound legal services grows, Starry Law Firm Thailand will
draw on its experience in foreign investment, corporate governance, operational
compliance, employment and day-to-day commercial matters to provide Dali Foods
Group with long-term legal support in Thailand. The engagement will assist the
group in identifying and managing legal risks in cross-border operations and in
progressing its business steadily and compliantly.
This
engagement represents a further application of Starry Law Firm Thailand's
experience and resources in China-Thailand cross-border legal services.
Starting with this collaboration, the parties will combine Dali Foods Group's
experience in the food industry with Starry's cross-border legal capabilities
to explore efficient and compliant pathways for the international expansion of
food businesses, offering a practical reference for Chinese food enterprises
entering Southeast Asia.
