Starry Law Firm Thailand has recently been
appointed as special legal counsel to BYHEALTH CO., LTD.
("BYHEALTH"). Starry will provide end-to-end legal services, from
company incorporation through the application for a Foreign Business License (FBL),
to support BYHEALTH's business development in Thailand and broader overseas
markets.
BYHEALTH
CO., LTD.
As a leading company in China's nutrition
and health food industry, BYHEALTH focuses on the research, development,
manufacture and sale of dietary nutritional supplements. Its product portfolio
covers protein, vitamins, minerals and other categories, serving consumers in
China and overseas markets.
As health and wellness consumption
continues to attract attention, Southeast Asia's nutrition and health food
market presents new areas for consideration in companies' international
expansion. BYHEALTH's Thailand initiative reflects its plan to assess local
market demand and the industrial environment, while progressively expanding its
brand and business presence in Southeast Asia.
FBL Legal
Services
Under Thailand's Foreign Business Act and
related regulations, a foreign-owned business intending to undertake a
restricted activity may need to obtain a Foreign Business License (FBL).
Whether an FBL is required, and the appropriate application route, depend on
the proposed business activities, shareholding structure and project
conditions.
Drawing on its practical experience in
Thailand investment and cross-border legal services, Starry Law Firm Thailand
will provide BYHEALTH with targeted legal support on company incorporation,
business-entry analysis, FBL application and project implementation matters,
assisting the company in identifying and addressing relevant compliance
considerations during project development.
This engagement is another practical
milestone in Starry's China-Thailand cross-border legal services. Going
forward, Starry will continue to provide pragmatic and professional legal
support to help Chinese health-industry enterprises advance their Thailand and
Southeast Asia strategies on a sound footing.
